Manchester United and England defender Gary neville loves the environment. He loves the environment so much that he’s building an £8million “ecobunker”, designed to feature the latest in eco-friendly technology and design. The home will feature wind turbines, ground source heat pump and solar panels.

make-aerialThe 8,000sq ft bunker will be constructed on an £8million estate, and is said to be modeled after several Hobbit homes in the popular “Lords of The Rings” series. According to designers, MAKE architects, claim it will be the first zero carbon home in North West England  More pictures below.

This right here is a great montage video of all the best goals of the month passed.  There are some absolutely sick efforts in here.  But my money is on Darren Fletcher’s half-volley from 18 and Juan Sebastian Veron’s long range effort for Estudiantes.  Which ones were your favorites of November?

Best Goals Of November (Video)

Dwight Yorke was one half of what was, to me, the best striker partnership I have ever seen.  He along with Andy Cole were lethal.

Now retired from the game, Yorke is trying to turn that success on the field into book revenues.  I have to say, I am somewhat curious to hear about the journey of a young man from the Caribbean to the foggy shores of England. Plus I would love behind the scenes accounts of what it was like playing during one of the golden ages of Manchester United.

This video is part 1 fo a two part feature.  Part 2 can be seen here.

Dwight Yorke Interview

Been hoping to do this one for awhile because I find it to be an intriguing kit for a number of reasons.  Not so much from a fashion stand point but for the transition it represents in one of the worlds biggest clubs.  Today 10Shirt features the 1990-92 Adidas Manchester Untied jersey.

ManU1990

Geek Info: First off this jersey represents that last edition designed by Adidas before Manchester left for the greener pastures of Umbro.  But this jersey was also the first Man U kit ever worn by three of it’s brightest all time stars, Denis Irwin, Peter Schmeichel and Ryan Giggs all of which joined the full team in 1990 and 1991.  It is unfortunate for Adidas to have lost this contract in this year.  As a result Umbro went on to break the bank as Man U ushered in a golden age of homegrown talent and transferred them into global icons.

Who Wore It? (In addition to the aforementioned players) Paul Ince, Mark Hughes, Brian McClair, Steve Bruce, Gary Pallister, Lee Sharpe.

Captain? Bryan Robson

Managed By: Sir Alex Ferguson

Accomplishments: 1990 FA Cup, 1990 Charity Shield (shared), 1991 UEFA Super Cup, 1991 UEFA Cup Winner’s Cup

*Note- The actual jersey used in the picture above is for sale on EBAY UK if anyone wants to bid on it.  10Shirt is not affiliated with the jersey sale.
