Umbro recently teamed up with English rock band Kasabian to strategically unveil their new 2010 England Away shirt live on stage in Paris. Listen to the sound of “Boooo’s” rain down upon them as the French notice what is going on on stage.
Umbro look to have gone retro, with the new kit having a red base and white cuffs. The jersey is simplistic yet a powerful homage to the many players who wore it before Rio and Rooney:
Want to see the best efforts of the England Premiership for December? Simply hit play. I must say I am partial to James Milner’s long range effort as well as Darren Bent’s great combination play.
This right here is a great montage video of all the best goals of the month passed. There are some absolutely sick efforts in here. But my money is on Darren Fletcher’s half-volley from 18 and Juan Sebastian Veron’s long range effort for Estudiantes. Which ones were your favorites of November?
Dwight Yorke was one half of what was, to me, the best striker partnership I have ever seen. He along with Andy Cole were lethal.
Now retired from the game, Yorke is trying to turn that success on the field into book revenues. I have to say, I am somewhat curious to hear about the journey of a young man from the Caribbean to the foggy shores of England. Plus I would love behind the scenes accounts of what it was like playing during one of the golden ages of Manchester United.
This video is part 1 fo a two part feature. Part 2 can be seen here.
