What’s with all the angry white tigers?  Somewhere just outside of Vegas, Sigfried and Roy and shaking their heads and going, “Too soon.”  The new Korean kit doesn’t seem to have too much flair, pretty basic white kit with a subtle watermark.  If I had just beat the Ivory Coast, I would definitely sport a jersey much more Baller than this.

American 2nd division club FC Tampa Bay of the NASL have unveiled their home and away shirts for the upcoming 2010 season.

Both shirts feature the clubs name on the chest, with the both club sponsor Lotto Team Sports and the FCTB badge located above. The Home kit features a white base with yellow and green horizontal stripe sleeves. The Away kit is a green and yellow horizontal shirt with solid green shorts and match socks.

FC Tampa Bay kick off their season April 16th against Crystal Palace Baltimore at UMBC Stadium in Baltimore. Visit FCTampaBay.com for more information.

Umbro recently teamed up with English rock band Kasabian to strategically unveil their new 2010 England Away shirt live on stage in Paris.  Listen to the sound of  “Boooo’s” rain down upon them as the French notice what is going on on stage.

Umbro look to have gone retro, with the new kit having a red base and white cuffs.  The jersey is simplistic yet a powerful homage to the many players who wore it before Rio and Rooney:

One thing that has really always bothered me is that soccer/football clothing manufacturers pretty much suck at making casual wear.  Yes, there are clubs that do it pretty well, but the big brands seem to always let me down.  Maybe it’s because I live in Southern California and most of the stuff I see these guys making just won’t fly on the streets out here.

That’s why I’m stoked to see what Calle is pimping these days on their site.  Finally there is a manufacturer that gets it.  Granted their demographic is always geared toward street soccer, so it makes sense that they do good casual wear.  It strikes me as what Modern Amusement would do if they made a line of soccer clothing.

Their is a reason that Steve Nash chose them to outfit his Showdown in Chinatown event last year.

Women’s Professional Soccer unveiled their 2010 PUMA jerseys at an event in Philadelphia last week. The 2nd year league has expanded in the run up to it’s first full season, which kicks off on April 10th. You can pre-order your club’s home shirt here.

Lost in the headlines of Landon Donovan’s debut for Everton and Clint Dempsey’s knee injury is young Stuart Holden.  In honor of the American starlet’s current trial with Bolton Wanderers, this week’s Vintage 10Shirt features the Bolton 1958 jersey.

Geek Info: In 1957 Bolton changed to a V-Neck shirt for the first time in it’s history.  This 1958 edition is a continuation of this trend, one that would continue until 1964.  This shirt was also worn during the most prolific period of Bolton’s history.  One that saw The Wanderers remain in the top flight for 29 years.  Bolton also won the FA Cup in 1958 cementing this kit’s place in their history.

So you are having breakfast and you just can’t get over how naked and sad your toast is.  Well rejoice warm bread fans!  The Bundesliga is here to brighten your mornings.  Almost every Bundesliga team now offers in their official shops either a toaster or sandwich maker which will brand your bread like cattle. (Or Bam Margera’s backside)

Never settle for naked toast again.  Further evidence that Euro’s will buy anything a football team tries to sell them.

Adidas unveiled the “Jabulani Angola” last week, the official match ball of the upcoming 2010 Africa Cup of Nations. The ball is produced by Adidas and features a color scheme based on the flag of host nation Angola. The tournament kicks off January 10th in Angola and will feature many of the African sides that will feature at this summer’s World Cup in South Africa.

Back to England this week as we dive down below The Premiership for this edition of Vintage 10Shirt.  Most American football fans remember Leicester City as the team Kasey Keller first gained notoriety, but the club has a rich history dating back to 1884.  The club was originally founded under the name Leicester Fosse.

Today we will feature their 1956-61 away shirt.

Geek Info: The Foxes, as they are known, Leicester City saw one of it’s most prolific periods of football while wearing the above pictured kit. Leicester has never won a First Division title, but from 1957 to 1969 the club managed to remain in the top division of English football.  In 1961, the last year this kit was used, The Foxes reached one of their two ever FA Cup finals, both of which they lost.  This shirt was the first V-Neck ever employed by Leicester City, having always used either a circular or collared style previously.
